Grad Session FAQ’s
How long will it take you to edit our photos?
For all grad sessions, I return galleries within 1 week!
When should we pay you for our session?
I require payments before your session to reserve your spot!
How should we pay you for our session?
I accept Venmo for session reservations payments (username is @sallysteffy), checks (written to Snapshots by Sally Jane), or cash!
Can I get my photos in black & white too?
Of course!! All galleries will have a color AND a black & white version of every single photo!
Can someone come with me to my session even if they aren't being photographed!
Definitely, I wanna meet you and your boyfriend, mom, fiancé and your dog! Bringing someone you love helps people feel comfortable right from the start so I would encourage it!
Will any of our photos be watermarked?
heck to the no... I hate branding someone's memories. I wouldn't want anyone else's name on my photos either!
What should I bring!
Plan on wearing whatever you want! I suggest something that you feel good in because you know that phrase “look good feel good.” Try to avoid busy prints! I suggest bringing comfortable shoes to walk around in if the shoes you want to be photographed in are not good walking shoes! I usually walk a mile or two by the end of each session & nobody likes a nasty blister during grad week!
Can I bring two outfit changes?
You sure can! I suggest if you want to wear two outfits, bring something that represents your school, major, sorority, club, etc! We can change at any point during your session!
What if the weather is bad during my session?
If for some reason mother nature is not rooting for us on your session date, we will reschedule! If for some reason you or your friend group cannot reschedule, a full refund will be given!
Where will we go during our session?
When we meet, we will make our way around to your favorite places all over campus! Some of the common ones that I always stop at are the Hovde Steps, the infamous Purdue Arch, both fountains, the Harry’s wall & of course the Purdue bell tower! If there is anywhere that you also want to stop at, we can totally do that! I have photographed engineering majors in front of their buildings, nursing students by the school of nursing & even a student in a lab with his senior project! I am very flexible with where we go during our time together!
If I book a group session of any size can I get any individual shots?
Of course! Depending on the size of your group, you will definitely be able to get a shot of yourself! For smaller groups of 4 and under, you will get several of your own pictures during the session!
